Flash fiction is a genre of story writing. It is a better way to say a brief fictional narrative. Typically flash stories have one or two characters, are told in up to 500 words (seldomly up to 1,000). At the end the writer pulls a rabbit from their hat and leaves the reader surprised, even shocked and willing to read more flashy tales.
